Just saw a promo on WBZ promoting Jack Williams' 35th anniversary of joining WBZ.

They will have a special edition of the news at 6 & 11.
 
Wow! That's great! I still remember the heydey of WBZ: Jack and Liz on Eyewitness News NIGHTCAST. I just loved that name, NIGHTCAST!
 
remember back before the days of cable with Jack Williams, and Tony Pepper in the anchor chairs...Bob Lobel on sports.....forget who was the weather guy, (Bruce?)...but to me they were the best....now with cable Boston stations are blocked here in Rhode Island

I get to watch Jack Williams every night from south of Providence!

My attic antenna gets all the major Boston stations with 100% signal quality. And I get a few of the less major stations too.
