Off radio, but we here in Philly are keeping you and your friends and families in our thoughts as you go through this horrible tragedy. Our prayers are that no one you know was personally impacted by this, and our prayers to out to you if they were.

Back to radio, my little Part 15 "duopoly" is relaying your KSTP coverage, much like we relayed SkyNews during the Scotland airport car bombing.

GOD SPEED...

How is radio handling this? Are the FM stations simulcasting TV feeds?
 
I used to live in the Twin Cities area, but no longer do. Immediately after I heard about the collapse, I went to the local TV and radio station sites. All four TV news operations (4, 5, 9, 11) were streaming their coverage live. Last I checked, they still are.

From what I heard via hearsay, WCCO Radio was doing their own thing, separate from their TV station (as they usually do). They have been wall-to-wall. And their talk shows today were still covering it. Their FM sister stations, WLTE and Jack, were still airing music last night, as I assume they CBS thinks that listeners of those two stations will just flip to 'CCO anyways.

I heard that KSTP and their sister station, female-oriented talk WFMP was mostly airing audio from their Ch. 5. Clear Channel's KTLK was doing live coverage and their music stations were mostly directing their listeners there.

Citadel didn't do anything with KQ and 93X.

Radio One's B96 was covering it, from what I heard. That's a surprise.
 
i checked the stream of KFAN last night and the were covering the bridge collapse with coverage from one of the tv stations i think it was the fox affiliate (im not from Minnesota so i dont know who is what in terms of tv affiliates save WCCO which since its O&O by CBS network is a cbs affiliate
