360 Shortcut

I don't believe that the Shortcut is supported by 360systems any longer.
Of course, I may be wrong.

If you can't get anywhere with 360, think about a PC (or Mac, but more expensive) and Audacity (free). Keep it off the Internet and a re-purposed XP machine would work fine.

If the buttons aren't totally past it, I have heard of folks cleaning and refurbishing them with conductive paint.

It's very possible that someone dumped some soda or coffee in that area. The 360 System ShortCuts are very easy to pull apart and work on. Each set of buttons is on a sheet. Pull off the sheet of buttons and clean the contacts (very easily seen, once the sheet of buttons is pulled off) with isopropyl alcohol, or even light soap and water. If you're familiar with the Radio Systems Millenium console ON & OFF buttons, same concept.
