It is now November so when do you think that 39.9 will switch to Christmas music and become Chicago's Christmas Music station that will be running until December 26th. This year Christmas falls on a Sunday so the 26th will be on a Monday, so I am not sure normally at midnight is when the end of the Christmas music on the main channel and the 90's til now music returns. SO when do you think they will announce the date for the switch. Now if I am remembering correctly last year they did a surprise and ran the Christmas music over the weekend too rather then move then to the HD 2 channels is less did they play them there as well? Normally the day after Christmas they move the Christmas music over to the HD 2 channel until after the New Year and then what do they air the rest of the music you can listen to on the main channel. So this month do you think that they will make the switch to the Christmas music and why do you think they will make the switch on that day?

I am not aware that Chicago has a radio station 39.9...
 
You must either be joking or not live in Chicago or live in IL to no know that there is a radio station on 93.9 on the FM side
 
It will never happen, but I think it would be cool if a specialty receiver manufacturer came out with a radio that could pick up the audio only of TV sub channels. It kinda would be like a twisted franken FM, and would be a alternative to expensive HD radio.

Many specialty channels could be set up in markets that have available channels on the side.

As I said I have a better chance of winning the Alabama lottery than seeing this happen
