3G Joins WHO Radio

Some listeners would regard his on air performances as tirades. He made waves when he was PD at WOWO (Ft. Wayne) for dumping a long time personality without apparent reason, a host who was brought back when Henson was sacked.

This may provide some context as to why some may regard him as notorious.

Somebody in that thread stated no one named Gregg with 2 G's on the end should be trusted. I take exception to that remark. 😄

I can't wait to not listen to him.

As long as he doesn’t make the wrong people upset professionally or business wise, which he likely won’t, he’ll probably do just fine here. Sounds like some people have some personal issues with him or some political ones. The personal issues I can’t speak to but his politics sounds like it will fit in nicely with WHOs audience.

Thanks for the context.

I have my doubts about how well shock-jock types of personalities will do in Des Moines or Iowa, where some value is still placed on personal decorum.

True, but at this int nothing has been said about Mr Henson being on the air. WHO has a pretty set lineup at this point, I believe...

Until the next budget cuts...and even before that, as program director, he should have a substantial influence on the station's sound.

Just remember the slogan: "iHeartRadio ... Guaranteed Layoffs"
