3HL moves

Surprised? No. Will be listening? Probably not. Their show reminds me a little of 102.5 The Party Scotty O'Brien/Brad Schmitt days: too many uninteresting personal stories and name dropping, too much of a clique, too much rambling. 3HL is 90 minutes uninteresting and 90 minutes actual sports content.

I'm probably marketing's prototype of a typical member of Plaster's audience, but I love 3HL. Sometimes too silly but they've really built something unique and enjoyable. They'll also help the Zone forge a strong identity for the afternoons. And I am told that the 3HL trio is very much aware that there are some different expectations for afternoon drive and are looking forward to the challenge.

Had another thought... with the changes going on at the Zone, and knowing what's ahead for the Game, the Zone's new tagline should be "Not Your Daddy's Sports Radio...". After all, the former afternoon host at the Zone sure liked to use that "Who's Your Daddy?" phrase a lot...
