3OH!3

I like this song now. The original without rap is better. I've only heard the clean version, so I'm not sure what the dirty version is like. As a result of this song, I researched and found out who Helen Keller was. It comes to show that you can become "somebody" or be all that you can be, regardless of whatever set backs or disabilities you may have.

As far as the chorus goes, no matter how offensive it may be,there is some truth to it. as with most songs. There are indeed some people I don't trust, even more so today, in 2009. They even went ahead to say "don't trust me". I'm glad that they just went ahead and put it out there so now I know that if I should ever become friends with them and I need a ride from the airport or something, I already know in advance not to call on them since they aren't trustworthy. Lets say I'm going out of town and they're like "OH! don't worry, I'll watch your house for you!" I'll be like "nope! sorry, can't trust you! listen to what you said in your song!"

KDM7000, the Helen Keller refrence wasn't meant as a history lesson, it's blatantly misogynistic. This has to be the most primitive song ever to be played on the radio. I'm glad that it's finally peaked and getting less airplay.

I forgot all about this! I've got to admit that some of my posts here on this subject are even worse than my "what if jazz is the new dance" post! - But at least I keep a MAJORITY of my posts serious, or they are based off of a serious thought I had in mind.

What reminded me of this is that I just did a mix with 3oh!3's follow up hit in it, in addition to me somehow randomly running into this post. I accidentally played it earlier yesterday and just happened to love the melody of it, then an idea of an entire mix with it came to mind, so I just went for it. I don't like the 140 bpm version, but the 130 is just perfect, and the beat mix version I have I like more than the radio edit. I believe it's called starstrukk. I guess the "don't trust me" song doesn't offend me because I never bothered to find out what the song really was about or what the lyrics were. Either that, or I've heard so much worse that now it's like "it is what it is" to me.

I heard the super edited version without the Helen Keller for the first time on London's BBC Radio 1, about three or four days ago.
