In 2006, Clear Channel gave the finger to their Atlanta employees and listeners. I’ve been giving them the finger ever since. It’s been 3 years since I’ve listened to any Clear Channel owned station.

Less is more.
 
Since I quit ClearChannel almost three years ago I:
gained 50 pounds
got adult acne
shredded my favorite houseplant to pieces for looking at me funny......

Your mileage may vary.........
 
The first two (weight and acne) are related. And diet related. The third is just cos everbody got so paranoid they don't have smokeable houseplants any mnore. Maybe we ought to go back to stoners on air? It wokred the last time.

Ah....back to the simpler old days.....cart machines and turntables (equipment you could operate AND repair while stoned)....maximum two radio stations in the building - you could always remember the right set of call letters when you answered the phone.....a simple barter system based on Columbian redbud and Oreo cookies.....clear channel was a reference to your technical status, not an Orwellian radio nightmare......You could grow marijuana in the studio because no one 'cept the cleaning lady knew what it was.....(had to watch the cleaning lady - she'd be pinchin' your plant)
