3RD QUARTER SUBSCRIBERS: DISH LOST 111,000 / DIRECTV GAINED 327,000

I wonder how many of those 327,000 will DirecTV lose when the NFL season is over?

apparently the 327,000 were not scared away by the prospect of
losing Fox Soccer Plus ;D

Probably a few whose contracts are up. As for the subscribers gained because they gave Sunday Ticket away in a gamble during the last weeks of the labor dispute, they're locked in two-year contracts. Expect a churn rate bump for DirecTV in 3Q 2013, once those subscribers who were sucked in through the NFL find out how expensive it is each year (and that most sports bars also carry it).
