Any comments so far on the look of KTVK? What about the new sets?

I only count 9.5 hours a day (GMAZ=4, Your Life A to Z=1, GDAZ=1, GEAZ=2, Newsroom@8=.5 and Newsroom@10=1).

Not sure if it was the new makeup that personalities have to use, but on Friday Scott Pasmore was so tanned, Rick D'Amico thought that Scott was too dark!

I read that it was "Pets On Parade" (now part of the Saturday "if it wasn't for the FCC, would we even bother airing educational shows" block) that was the other show going HD.

It's even worse...the Newsroom@10 is only .5. Remember they scaled it back to 30 minutes when they added The Newsroom@8 and the late, great Nine Time News! Maybe they're counting the repeat of "Your Life A To Z" at 2am.

I agree. The old set was MUCH MUCH better... this one looks older whereas the set before this "HD" change looked more modern.

Don't worry, I hear 3-tv will drop most of the orange out of their set after the Suns Playoffs are done. I like the way they support the Suns! Way to go 3-TV. Can't wait to see the morning show in HD beause the weekend staff is LAME...

They are including their news broadcast for KMSB Fox 11 at 9 pm down here in Tucson every night.

Some may call it a "retro" look, but IMHO, it's so much of a '70s throwback that I'm surprised they aren't calling their newscasts "Total News" again. What's next - getting Ray Thompson out of retirement? ;D

Yeah, but Thompson actually worked at Channel 3. Close spent his entire TV career at Channel 10, IIRC. Both of them are still living AFAIK.

Unfortunately there are no captions and while most of the pics are of
good digital quality, the name tags (when visible) are hard to decipher.
