4 of July Fireworks radio soundtrack

With the big 250th 4th of July coming this weekend is any radio station going to synch music to fireworks? It's been done in the past but the only times I heard of it being done was pre HD. PBS has the band playing the overture 1812 and the cannons are synced up but that's only one song.

Here in Mankato, MN they do it every year on a few radio stations who calls it Red Hot Boom!
Choreographed music can be heard on Radio Mankato stations Hot 96.7; Minnesota 100; and Classic Rock 94.1 KXLP.

We are doing this.

"Fire In The Sky" over Laramie.. I get to be right at the control point board for the fireworks with my boss while we monitor the station via remote access on a tablet. he city put out a press release with details on the best places to watch it from while mentioning music synched up to the fire works on Hits 106, KLMI 106.1

This picture is from 2019... owner has our then automation, Enco pulled up on the tablets remote access so we can fire off the music at the right time... we don't assume its 10pm on the dot so we dont set it hard timed in automation, we manually fire it off... I am not sure what hes doing on the phone... but I was doing pictures and videos for the facebook page

Philly radio does it every year on New Year’s Eve (there are fireworks every New Year’s Eve in addition to July 4th) but not on July 4th.
With the history of Philadelphia, one would think the 4th of July would be really be a really big celebration. Get a cheese steak sandwich and a lawn chair and I would be set to watch some serious fireworks 🎆

It’s huge. There is a 2 week festival (Wawa Welcome America) leading up to the 4th with a free concert in front of the Art Museum on the 4th followed by fireworks. Our local NBC station (owned and operated by NBC) preempts network programming to show the concert and fireworks on tv. It’s just no radio station plays the soundtrack to the fireworks on the 4th.
