Louisville 40 years of WDJX 99.7

A pretty significant anniversary this month August 29, 1985... I hope they acknowledge it...let's discuss this heritage station...the good ...the bad....and still doing incredible numbers

I was living in Louisville when 'DJX made its debut, replacing the rudderless Majic 100 FM. One of their early personalities was Christopher "Super" Fox, who I grew up listening to when he was on WERC, then WSGN, then back to WERC in Birmingham.

I also won $997 from 'DJX in the fall of '85. :)

When I was in school, we would use 'DJX as an adjective for awful music. "I left the party because all they played was 'DJX crap!"
And Top 40 music has gotten progressively worse since the 80's and 90's.
