4000 Postings.... I really need to get a life.

I've been overdoing it this weekend, too.

Gee, I feel so .... so ... minor in this board game. This is only my 103rd post. But look at it this way-you have lots to share. If I were you, I wouldn't fret unless you hit the 1 million post mark by midnight tonight! ;D

This is my 2,370th post. If the changes in April didn't occur, I would probably be close to or past 3000. There was a period of time when I stopped participating on this board.

David has more to contribute than me though! He sounds very smart.

But you know more about radio than all of us put together, Stuart.

I'm just a writer.

Me too... I think I have about 400 postings on the new board.

Glad you're back.

Don't tell Lance or Sam, but I think the Miami board is better than it used to be.
I don't know why.

To paraphrase King Arthur in Monty Python & The Holy Grail...
"When one's a writer, one has to know these things."

Your opinions and news -- everyone's -- are always welcome. I learn
something new here just about every day.

I can feel all of the love on this Miami-Ft. Lauderdale board ! :D

I registered on this Radio-Info web site back on the 29TH of December of 2005, and since then I've been averaging just shy of 2 posts per day. Before I started to post on here I was an eavesdropper / lurker. I didn't like a lot of the stuff that I saw posted on here back then, so instead of getting annoyed by it all I eventually decided to 'join the club' per se and throw in my two cents worth here and there. I'm glad I did because it's been a fun 8-months-plus so far. It's more fun now than it used to be, and I'm glad that the board took a different direction in April. (I also adore the new software.) A lot of the original posters on here didn't feel the same way about it as I did, so they went away. Some have returned, and some have not. I never went away. It got real quiet around during much of May, but then you guys eventually returned home.

I think that we have a great group of radio fans, and current and former employees of the radio business here on our particular board, and it's always fun to chat with you guys about our passion. Even when our Miami-Ft. Lauderdale FM & AM radio airwaves are somewhat slow and uninteresting (such as now) we still find something to discuss on here. Something HUGE will eventually come along that we will all jump on and discuss I'm sure ! I just hope that it doesn't happen during this upcoming week while I'm away in Philadelphia. I don't want to miss a thing !

I second that emotion !

THE MAJOR

Major.... I remember when you would post stuff like "This is my first posting.
One is the loneliest number." and "This is my 50th posting. There are
50 states." and so on.

Paraphrasing, of course.

And you and I would trade barbs about 93.1. ::)

Sounds like ancient history.

Actually, I think you are the biggest difference between before and
after the hostile takeover. (Oops! Don't tell anyone I said that.)

"Last week, I went to Philadelphia, but it was closed." ... W. C. Fields

Have a great trip.
