who have been really well-paid? Ron Drake-WHP? Bruce Bond-WNNK? I can't think of any others --unless Tyler, Harris and Durgin are today. I imagine some TV-8 anchors have been really well-paid.

I think you need to define "well paid". Is it six figures? $70K-$90K? When I was making $45K and had no kids I thought I was well paid. Now, a house and four kids later, "well paid" would have to be six figures. It's all relative.

(Presuming you're talking about air talents) being well-paid would be making as much as the top sales person in the building. Yeah, maybe Drake and Bond in their respective primes. Today? Maybe nobody!

I was VERY well paid at WLAN from 1994-2001. I made more there than in Market #27 as a morning guy. (Pm me for exact $ if you must) I had a good agent. Myself.

I can tell you when I worked in the former Dame Media/now current CC properties, there were some programming people there making some very attractive money. I know at least one person making over 50K currently doing middays in the market...not too shabby I'd say.
