5/1 96.9 The River in Spokane is still flowing!

I would hope it was either! Doesn't matter if they decided to go into another direction mid-project. Plus, listening to them today they have jocks on going about their business like nothing is going to happen. You may be right, maybe they grew some brains in the past 2 weeks. Not to say that staying with The River is smart, but going rhythmic is not smart...maybe even stupid. There are a lot of other directions that KXLY can go with 96.9FM.

May 1st isn't over yet...

Perhaps, they just haven't flipped the station yet, OR maybe they're waiting until tomorrow...

Its May 2nd now, and Spokanes River hasn't run dry! They are still on the air, playing all of that boring music with no live jocks or anything. They sound like an ipod on shuffle!

What is going on here?? Who says there going to flip a stations format, and then doesn't follow through with it?! I had my fingers crossed that Morgan Murphy was finally going to pull the plug on The River, and we'd finally get a taste of something new on 96.9. Are they going to continue to run the station into the ground and lose money? They must be losing money, quite a bit of it.

Rhythmic CHR sounds like a great choice to have on 96.9! Plus, the first time MM did Rhythmic CHR, they did a good job at it. Wired 96.9 was a really good sounding station, a lot better than 104.5 jamz.

I just would like to see something different on 96.9. The AAA format is so boring. Honestly, does anyone in Spokane actually listen to them?
