I've made mention recently of a sampling of WFLA. During several nighttime samplings of WFLA after midnight and after FOX New's, (fair and balanced) hour's 12AM, 1AM and 2AM, several night's this past week and prior to WFLA rejoining the feed from Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, I've heard and listened to The top hour ID, a spot, two PSA'S and the weather again.
The problem you ask? Simple, The top hour ID, the spot, the two PSA'S and the weather," all ran at the same time" 4-30 second unit's all running all at once and all at the same time, lest the 5 second ID that somehow got involved in this crash with the same set of circumstances being repeated again at the hour's mentioned above!
What am I missing here? Total unassisted auto-mation with no after hour board op, and the system being utilized has this sorta glitch? With the same glitch Repeated hour after hour? Who, at 540 WFLA is paying attention to this non-sense? The answer, that's simple too, no one at 540 WFLA is paying attention!
In short that's the problem with today's radio, today's radio people simply put, are NOT paying any bit of attention, and if I was to render a guess on my behalf, maybe their lack of attention is what makes today's radio entertaining for me.......
Who say's radio isn't fun to listen to anymore!
