540 WKFN Clarksville TN

Could be your time to log them if you haven't yet done so.

They've been on top here in SW Ohio lately including today, Football Friday.

Weird. They acquired a fairly large FM translator in the last month or two - so they don't need to leave the AM on day power to cover Clarksville anymore...

Radio Locator (FWIW) does show WKFN's fringe coverage making it as far north as the I-70 corridor in southeast Illinois, but it's possible I may have heard bits and pieces of them on my car radio here in Springfield--although a weak KWMT Fort Dodge, IA and slop from 550-KTRS St. Louis usually "dominate" the frequency here in this part of central Illinois. But once you get west of the I-55 corridor KWMT generally wipes out any sports on 540 (unless it was their Iowa State Cyclones network coverage). It is also possible that the "bits & pieces" of sports may also be the highly directional WAUK from the Milwaukee area, which also airs ESPN and does get its signal into parts of eastern Illinois before KWMT "takes over" the closer you get to Peoria and Springfield.
