570 KLIF promo gets it wrong

This is the kind of thing that shouldn't have happened. During a break in the Michael Savage show tonight they aired a promo that basically touts their alternative outlets for the programming on 570. It sounded good, except for one of the frequencies they mentioned. "1700 AM" (KKLF) was touted as having coverage from "Plano to the Red River" and there's not a lot of exaggeration there, even if the nighttime signal isn't that stunning. The trouble was that it also mentioned "99.3 HD-2" in the promo; no mention of "KLIF-FM," just the HD-2 signal with the wrong frequency.

Admittedly, this isn't a glaring error that would be caught by most people, considering what's probably still a minuscule number of HD listeners. But who's to blame for letting this one slip by, and how long has it been airing and gone unnoticed?

According to google when you search "99.3 Dallas" the 1st thing that pops up is "Dallas Fort Worth's New i93 Hits. 93.3 Today's Hit Music KLIF - FM"

Maybe there's something more to it than an error or oversight?

Well, Google thinks I live more than 150 miles south of my actual address, and it's almost impossible to change that. Besides, that auto-complete feature and questions like "Did you mean to search for _____" drive me crazy. Offhand I don't think there's any connection with a Google search and the error in the promo, but it's an interesting observation.

It's 93.3e not 99.3

actually KKLF is listenable to past the red river up into Ardmore.
Don't forget the daytime stick is actually in Grayson county.
Though your right the night signal isn't stunning. Except to us Collin County Listeners ;)
