Folks, here the 6 game shows list that runs from 1986 on WCBS-TV 2 when I was 2 are:

First:

9:00AM Let's Make a Deal
9:30AM Break the Bank
10:00AM The $25,000 Pyramid
10:30AM Card Sharks
11:00AM The Price Is Right
12:00PM Press Your Luck

Second on September 1986:

9:00AM True Confessions replace Let's Make a Deal
9:30AM The Judge replace Break the Bank
12:00PM WCBS-TV Channel 2 New at Noon replace Press You Luck

Some of those are national CBS shows, like Press Your Luck and The Price is Right. Let's Make a Deal was in syndication, still with Monty Hall. All game shows between 10AM-12PM are national CBS shows.

Let's Make a Deal and Break the Bank had actually replaced Tic Tac Dough and The Joker's Wild, which both moved back to WOR-TV channel 9. LMAD, ironically enough, would join Tic Tac and Joker on 9 in September 1986, while Break the Bank was mercifully removed.

Is this supposed to be your argument that the
games that replace "Guiding Light" (especially on
the morning stations like WCBS) will be successful?
Personally, I think they have a better chance on the
morning stations than on the afternoon ones, but I'm
still from Missouri (not literally, it's an expression meaning,
"I won't believe it until I see it").
