6 Meter Activity Near Albany, NY

Anyone know of any activity on 6 meters near the Albany, NY area? I heard about a couple nets and a repeater, but nothing I can hear or get into. I just got a FT-847 and wouild like to use all of it. ;D
 
Alex KQ2H used to run a 6 meter repeater network that went from upstate NY down to Delawareon 52/53.72 or 74 I dont remember.. I do remember that it was not far From My freq pair of 52/53.71 its been awhile.. Neal-CE WTTMKA2CAF

6 meters is an interesting band!!!It doesnt open as much as 10,11,12,15,etc........... But when it does,ITS VERY KEWL!!!!!!!!Whats the farthest anyone has talked on 6 during an opening and during regular times??
 
I had an old Tube Lafeyette radio 6 meter AM rig I think it was Either 10or 20 watts output with a saturn-6 horizontal loop antenna on the roof of the house( lived on long island at the Time)and worked a station In Alaska Talk about Kewl band opening... Had one like that on 2 meters back in the late 70's early 80's I worked a guy in Tampa FloridaI was using a Wilson Mk4 Ht 4 watts and a rubber duck antenna. He Was using a KDK mobile rig.

w0w those are awesome conditions!!!!!2yrs ago i heard some gopod conditions on 2!!!!Some guy in Pittsburgh was FULL QUIETING into the Mt. Greylock Repeater (146.910) I thought he was kidding @ first!!!!!!!!
