60 years of broadcasting for Bob Grant

WOW! Talk about a great radio career. WABC's Bob Grant put on the cans for the first time back in May 14th, 1948. Read about his career in todays NY Daily News.

As usual, Hinckley's column is great today. Surviving in this business 6 years is remarkable. I can't even imagine 60.

(By the way, News spellcheckers... Way to go for misspelling Joe Pyne's name.)

For this milestone, Mr. Grant will be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award from Talkers Magazine (you know, the one he should have got from Radio & Records a few months ago?) at their radio convention next month - which I will have the pleasure of attending.
