610-790 AM What does your AM Dial Look Like at Night

Your 730 is maybe CKAC Montreal ? It is sports talk i beleive

I believe that you are right. But I was expecting Sport talk and all I was getting was music, it really had me second guessing. Perhaps they play music in the wee hours of the morning. I will be monitoring in the coming evenings and see if I can verify it as CKAC.

Yeah, if it's in French and on 730; it's CKAC. Just by process of elimination. However, being that you're in Ontario, that makes it even more of a sure thing.

CKAC does a lot of sports, but I don't believe they're fulltime sports talk. They have a superb daytime signal as well as being heard widely at night.

As for my nighttime dial (far northwest suburbs of Chicago)....

610: Kansas City. Good signal, owns the channel
620: WTMJ. CKCK (or whatever it now calls itself) Regina, SK underneath....and sometimes even on top!
630: Usually KJSL....sometimes CFCO or WLAP
640: Usually WMFN and WOI. Sometimes WWLS KFI "Back in the day" but absent for the past several years.
650: WSM rules....even through the local buzzer on 670
660: WFAN (when 670 nulled)
670: WSCR local
680: Not much....sometimes either CFTR or WCTT with local 670 nulled
690: Usually CINF. Sometimes KGGF
700: WLW Rules
710: If anything, WOR. Occasionally KCMO.
720: Local WGN
730: Usually Mexico City with WGN Nulled
740: CFZM strong, but sometimes KRMG sneaks in
750: WSB
760: WJR
770: WABC with local 780 nulled
780: Local WBBM
790: Not much...even with WBBM nulled. Sometimes CIGM or WSGW
