A week ago CBS named George Mier ex-WSKQ NY Program Director in Tampa 92.5 as PD, Consequently he represents an innicative in spanish strategies for CBS.

I think he could be responsible for a change in Philly-610 AM to Spanish.

WIP is the #10 biller in Philadelphia, and the second highest biller on AM.

Hispanics are only 5% of the market, and only 40% are Spanish dominant. Not all Hispanics like the same Spanish music formats. So the best a station could do would maybe be about a 1 to 1.5 share. And that's without considering that Spanish Dominant listeners are younger and tend to hate AM.

If you are going to make something up, at least make it fractionally believable.

WEMG and WUBA are 29th and 37th in the market 12+. Atlantic City stations almost beat WUBA in Philadelphia. WIP is a cash cow.

Move on.
