610 dead air, and technical problems today.

Went out right before 2:00 today, and put on 610. It was dead air. Don't know how long it had been dead air beforehand, but from the point I tuned in, it lasted for a few minutes, then followed by another few minutes of audio cutting in and out. Finally about 5 after 2:00 the hosts come on live and make no mention of any problems. They talked as if nothing happened, except after I while I noticed they wern't taking any calls. About 2:30 Rob Charry gives out the numbers, and sends it to a break. When they come back, he makes mention that they can't take calls right now because of technical difficulties.

I got home right after that, and had to turn the radio off, so I don't know when things were fixed, but I went out again about an hour later and everything seemed fine by then.

Spring satellite sun-fade is starting. The sun's in the same place as the satellite in the sky for 5 to 15 minutes and it's a bigger transmitter than the satellite.
