any ETA on when the 94.1 signal will get the power boost and move in closer to town?

Freddy, this should happen within the next few months; only Bob Stevens knows for sure. Keep your ear
on that frequency.

As for the anti-Frankie Day diatribe which has erupted in this thread (again), I have said many times that
if it weren't for him 770 would not be doing what it is doing. Whatever you may think of him, he's playing
60+ hours of oldies on the air every week on his own dime. I'm a big fan of TL and Porky, but TL is down
to one night on WLSW, which I can't hear very well (I miss him on WJAS), and Porky isn't on the air at all
(a sad situation which should be remedied). When Frankie says he's helping to "Keep The Oldies Alive" he
speaks the truth. It's easy to take anonymous shots on a message board; if you don't happen to like the
guy personally or professionally, at least give him credit for putting his money where his mouth is.

P.S. In six years of working with Frankie I have never heard him claim to be better than Porky, Terry Lee,
or anyone else.

That's what I was going to say. I've never heard him say he kicks Porky's butt or anything like that. Just from listening to him I seriously doubt the thought has even crossed his mind. If someone reads his expedience as disrespect, that's your opinion.

I'd love to hear such a person on a local here. I have no idea what he sounds like, but if he keeps the oldies alive, more power to him. For anyone to do something for that many hours a week and to also buy the time is nothing short of phenomenal.

Greg....from what I hear on the radio he has the energy of WETZ's Uncle Dugger...I have never met Frankie Day, but again his show emulates nothing but good things! ;D

AGREE :)

Frankie comes across as a very positive guy. It is hard to believe he would disparage anyone.
