650 range really sucks how about for anybody elese

When ever I am trying to listen to the Howard Stern Show the signal seems to come and go. When I am on the FRY the signal is good but when I drive by buildings or under a overpass the signal is almost gone. Running 250w is not doing the station any good is it possable for them to get a license for like 1000w. I am runnin a good after market pioneer in my car so that sould not be any problem is anybody elese getting a weak crappy signal for 650.<P ID="signature">______________

250watts at 650 does better than 5Killowatts at 1500.....No there is NO way for 650 to increase power unless they null toward WSM...and Infinity is not going to spend money on 650...what you hear is what you get....but I can listen to 650 quite well traveling east of Houston, even into SW La...

650 comes in better than 610, at least in Beaumont. I can't pick up either at night, so it doesn't really matter. Its a good thing the Astros games are on KTRH, or I'd never hear any Houston sports teams. Picking up 610 or 950 at night outside of Houston is next to impossible.

650 is omni...610 is directional south all the time....power level toward BMT is maybe 1000day and 500watts at night (the main lobe is south and is 25-28,0000 watts ERP...effective radiated power). Of course 650 is off the air at night (its a daytime only)

950 is omni daytime but directional to the SW at night and its tower site is just off 610 on the NE side and a DEEP null toward the east and BPT area
