"666 Park Avenue" Thread

Well, today is Sunday, and many people are going out to their churches as they share a moment or two with God & Jesus, And Tonight things will probably turn out for the worst as the new show, "666 Park Avenue" is scheduled to premiere right after "Revenge". I believe a lot of christians and churchgoers alike will completely ignore this show because it does have a reference that can be found in the bible as it promotes satanism, and devil worshiping.

The show's main stars-Dave Annable (Brothers & Sisters), Rachel Taylor, Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives), and Terry O'Quinn(LOST) are pretty much easy to see, especially for Vanessa, who plays the stunningly extremely beautiful sexy wife of the building owner, played by O'Quinn.

After just one episode, I think people might probably just want to turn off the show, because If KSL-5 in Salt Lake was an ABC Station, it would be more likely to turn it off just like it did to "The New Normal" and last season's "The Playboy Club"-which was pulled after just three shows.

It's too late to delete this from the "wrong" thread, but I can post it on the "right" thread.

I'd prefer not to watch, but I do like Vanessa Williams. Unfortunately, it's her husband who is manipulative and evil this time, not her. And I don't like him, except when he's being nice, which isn't often.

I do like Jane, especially in the bathtub. It's a shame she slept in something sort of sexy the first night and then covered up the next night.

I also like that woman who the artist husband is looking at, but mainly for the reason he does. his wife is pretty and I thought it was a shame she got hurt. The building's history looks interesting. And it is a beautiful building.

But all this evil stuff may be too much for me and I can only hope for a quick cancellation.

I really do love Vanessa, but only as a singer. Just after last night's episode, I was feeling completely turned off because I was thinking Vanessa's role on "666" was pretty much more evil than her TV Husband, played by Terry O'Quinn(LOST). So therefore it was Gavin Doran, who calling all of the shots, and Vanessa's character is not as evil as Wilhelmiina Slater from "Ugly Betty"

This was not the case for Vanessa; I really do love her in very sexy roles on "Ugly Betty" and "Desperate Housewives". I really loved her playing real bad roles-like the boss that you slept with, or The Mom who cheats with a much younger man-These are the roles Vanessa was born to play with. I think Vanessa might appear on a juicy prime-time soap, like "Dallas" for instance. or another steamy drama-with some comedic overtones, like DH.

May I suggest that you don't watch it? Personally, I can enjoy some "evil" when it is just on TV...not in real life. I thought the show was clever enough to watch a few more episodes.

At this point I have no real incentive to watch any more. I think I'm done. I just feel I might regret it later if the show succeeds, but the violence and weird stuff has gotten to be too much.

There is a lot of good music, one exception being when Jane and Henry had the Dorans over. I can't picture Gavin liking that so-called music, and their job is to impress him.

Jane wore shorts to bed, but really, that's not much of an incentive. I'm liking Jane less and less. The mysteries don't interest me any more as there is usually some sort of violence.

Looking at Alexis the way Brian did was also an incentive until she started acting creepy.

Vanessa Williams isn't going to get me to watch. Her husband is the Wilhelmina Slater here, and his style doesn't work for me.
