Just got back from New York city - the 66th annual IBS Radio conference was fun (Sorry, Nik, didn't get to tune in to your show, all they were broadcasting wuz WIBS at the hotel)
Sam Seder & Janeane Garofalo appeared last year - they were scheduled this year but I think Air America Radio president Gary Krantz took their place - that panel was the same as mine.
stations from across the U.S.A. were represented, though fewer from Boston
this year. Speakers were there from College Media Journal (CMJ), the FCC, XM radio and a variety of stations.
Good to see so many music directors and program directors from college radio
being so pro-active. We had a good discussion about BMI/SESAC/ASCAP this year.
