670 La Poderosa?

I have read most of the past posts about the station and gotten mixed signals. People seem to recognize it as a powerful station with lots of listeners, but claim it has a bad night signal and other things. I would like to hear the knowledgable opinions of the members of this board as to the current state of the signal. Is it better than before, worse?

Thank you very much

It's no better nor worse than in the recent past. It's a nice 50 kw day, and covers nearly all the market (Miami-dade and Broward) with a 10 mv/m signal and all of it with a 5 mv/m signal. At night, it has 1 kw and the useful, interference free, coverage is very limited

In the spring ratings, the station was 31st out of all stations in 12+ and 39th in 25-54. The share in 12+ was a 0.6.

I appreciate the response. Anything specific you can think of that would help the night signal? we get alot of interference from Cuba as you know so theres not much we can do about that. Anything would be appreciated.

hello, hola
I can say that WWFE can be heard during day time in Havana... when Rebelde is not on the air, since they have there one of the several frecuencies of Radio Rebelde on top... just to waste electricity at the cost of the cuban people because they are afraid of independent ideas and opinion ... but we know this already for more than 40 years...
Indeed, the quality of the signal and sound was good, at least when I listened to it during the late 80-LATE 90s... it was even better than Radio Mambi...

At night La Podersoa can be heard here in North Alabama via skip. In fact, I heard bits and pieces of it Tuesday Night.
