680 The Fan is promoting a big announcement Monday at 5:30pm. Something about the station being bigger. Anyone have any idea? Possible frequency move from translator 93.7? But where? 100.5?

Either of the 97.9 and 98.9 translators would be an improvement as well. Since TOC just went to 98.9, I would guess 97.9.
100.5? TRG would work well with sports, but if TRG is looking to be more female-friendly, then sports wouldn't be the ticket.
Another alternative would be for Rock100.5 to continue to lean alt and move to 106.7 and pick up Athens. Some of the imaging (e.g. Local Licks) has that nasal, low bandwidth imaging that seems to be a universal code for alt.
But now where does AN go?
Also, Cumulus seemed to let the cat out of the bag and say that they are eventually going to convert ALL of their country stations to NASH. Would this be time for a move/reimaging of Kicks?
Lastly, keep in mind that Dickey doesn't own any of the FMs, and any deal with Cumulus would have to be done at arms' length and to the benefit of Cumulus.

I just turned 93.7 on and it's now Lite Rock Z93.7! What the heck?

no they are not the Macon signal is running over the signal more than usual.
What would be on 93.7?
Why would they do that? 98.9's signal is worse than 93.7.

They extended their Braves contract for a few more years. Plus the FM simulcast moves to 106.7fm.

Sad All News. But another reason the name is a lie. The Braves will eat 30+ hours of air time a week plus whatever time Tech sports eats and those infomercials.

All News is officially a chapter in ATL radio history. Kimmer followed by Savage 3-6PM and Braves at night puts the kabosh on trying to claim 24-7 news coverage and/or Atlanta's only "all news' station. won't be long before we hear another annoucement about 10AM-Noon as they may or may not keep all news in AMD.
Almost as much as WSB claiming they're "All News" ;-)
And Savage at 106.7 is BS. No one there has even hinted it will happen.
I was about to say. Kimmer on a news station is one thing, but Savage? Kimmer can be un-P.C. but generally stays away from the controversial stuff. Savage lives for controversy.
I had not heard one thing about Savage to 106.7. Kinda surprised someone hasn't picked him up yet, like WCFO (or WGST opposite Rush from the day before).
So I gather, the big news was the Braves contract extension and the move of the Braves FM cast to 106.7.

Maybe it's because Cumulus owns the Savage show and they're saving it for themselves for Jan. Net inventory in ATL worth $$ and Cumulus network distributes the program don't be shocked when Dickey attempts to extrap revenge on Hannity who fired him by going head to head here.
