Nobody seems to care about their call letters anymore. Which is a shame, because finding the right series of letters to describe your station's location or format, or even to fit a slogan, could sometimes come close to being an art.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Dickeys are holding out for an offer for them from Warner Media (fka Turner Broadcasting).

Of course, I was surprised when Cox sold off the station that inherited the WFOX calls from 97.1, without finding a way to hang on to those calls for potential future sale to a Fox O&O to go with the WCBS, WNBC, WABCs of the world.

Warner Media has ZERO interest in radio stations. Less than zero. Warner is owned by AT&T. Last time AT&T owned radio was WEAF in 1922.

The WFOX call letters are on the Fox affiliate in Jacksonville owned by Cox.
