690 Call Letters

I went on a ride-about with Scott Fybush in Baja. While visiting the 690 seven tower array, the top of the hour ID was X E W W. Is that a known change?

Chris unless something has changed, XETRA has a five tower array just south and east of Rosarito. Did something change while I've been gone, or did Eduardo put up some more sticks? I don't recall any seven tower array down south. Maybe you were somewhere else?

No, it was marked as 690 AM. Scott Fybush took photos (we were along side the libre road). Seven towers, just north of the big Jesus statue, north of the lobster village (and XESDD). The geographic area you describe is correct.

Confirmed. Seven towers. Different pattern day and night.

And the calls are XEWW, confirmed. This is because it is now a part of the XEW network from Mexico City... in a bizarre mix with local programming for LA out of the burbank studio. No ratings in SD, LA or even Tijuana since it began. But try to tell the Spaniards they are wrong... I did.
