I just saw this in the trades this morning...what time will he be on? Nothing on WIST's web site yet. I think Mancow can work well in New Orleans.
nationally syndicated by TRN...started in Chicago and was hot talk for a while. Has let the hot talk go and is more of a high energy, male leaning, morning show. He has also been touted as 'the next big thing' more than any other person I can remember. For some reason though he has never really broken through to the next level. They keep tweaking and he keeps staying where he is for the most part.
Shane is now in Kaare's time slot; Mancow is on in the mornings

Mancow ROCKS! I love watching him on Fox & Friends in the morning on FNC. He's usually at the end of the program, around 8:55am CST. Mancow is hysterical!! Watched him for about the last four years. Given his relationship with FNC, I'm surprised he's not on FNR's NO affiliate, which I thought was CC 99.5?? I know WIST used to be the FNR affiliate. Either way, I'm betting SW is happy about not going on-air so damn early. =)

99.5 is the FNR affiliate now. Mancow's morning show is syndicated by TRN, and they have a lot of shows already on IST. So, they would have the inside track on that end.

For 690am, that's still a problem. I understand that 690am has to offer "same chance" to every to every candidate in the race, regardless of "class" as I understand the law. That means they owe 12 candidates at least 4 hours each "with pay" and will have to let each spend time with Charles Grant in front of that HUGE crowd that shows up at Shula's.

Why would the candidates sign an agreement? Free airtime on a station no one listens to is still free... no, they'd actually get paid since KAAARREEEEE did.

ned. You're obsession with "Wilkie" is scary. If I were he all I'd have to do is run a "search" of your posts and you'd look pretty darn scary.
Just a little observation from a guy with just a little law enforcement history (maybe a little more)… for what it’s worth.
For your sake, I'd wish him good health and re-look at your posts.
The whole “****-erotic” component is scary enough, but now… well anyone who runs a search and reads your posts will notice a pattern (I'm being pleasant, as you know)concerning KW, Mitchell, and WWL, will get the creeps.
