690 Sports 12-22 ... Montreal?

I've been a bit behind in the DX pursuit here in recent years. But I put a newly-bought Grundig S450 through some paces today.

Detroit Lions - Atlanta Falcons on 690, in English, via Dial Global Sports, is the one from Montreal, correct?

Steady but secondary signal to Spanish here in NE PA for about 45 minutes. The PBP was atop for most of the time, but not as loud as the Spanish was during football fadeouts.

I only got the radio in November, mimo, lol. It's been the kid-with-a-new-toy syndrome at just about the right time of the year. The trusty GE SRII hardly gets turned on except as a companion at work in the daytime, or for ball games at night. A shiny new radio is a different priority, though.

I'd gone to the 'Canada' page to read up about the new format, whatever it was ; I don't think sports was specified. Nor, iIrc, were the calls. There were a few things about them //ing 990 for a while, or vice versa. But there were a few changes since September, evidently, so I wasn't sure. And I didn't hear the calls given in the 45 minute interval*. Thanks for the update!

* Same story earlier in the day, at 2:30PM. A sports station on 1130 was overriding distant but 24/7 dominant WBBR. I knew it was Detroit but the only ID I got was at 2:35. It was the usual glitzy, too-cool, swooping positioner, dutifully complete with the thoroughly indecipherable image and slogan. Par for the day, as it turns out. I cheated by bringing up the WDFN web stream and hearing the same game -- the Golden somethings-or other basketball PBP. Oddly, the WDFN page said that Jim Rome should have been on.
 
Sounds like CKGM to me. They are now 50kw on 690 and 990 is off the air. But 990 will be back on with a different format sometime next year.
