Nice catch. I had CBW, CBR, CBX, CBK last night, all varying from fair (CBW/CBK) to very strong (CBR). Also WBBM 780 with an ID for 105.9 FM u/ KKOH, KXEL, KSTP, tent. WGN 720 and others. Good evening for east-west prop.
I remember being in the Portland OR area some years ago when CBC stations used to sign off overnight. It was around 5:15 AM and 690 from Tijuana, then XETRA, a Top 40 station (geez this is some years ago!) was loud and clear. Then at 5:30, on came CBU and it blocked out XETRA.
I still wonder how you can have two powerful stations on 690 on the West Coast, both 50,000 watts. (XEWW Rosarito-Tijuana now powers up to 77,000 watts in the daytime.)
