6ABC WPVI has increased power on their digital transmitter

Their increase in power made no difference. 6ABC CAN NOT be received in Bensalem, PA Bucks County. I can receive all area stations except Channel 6. Looks like its going to hit them in the revenue pocket if they don't correct this problem soon.

Nope...still can't get WPVI-DT at my place in Norristown...and on the tv in the break room at work in East Norriton, channel 6 looks more like a piece of modern art :-\

Again users To report signal issues: http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/feature?section=resources&id=6872046 or even contact the FCC. I'm shocked to hear that the signal problems are still persisting after the power boost. Inquirer had an article about this today. Contact the writer about your signal issues too: http://www.philly.com/inquirer/busi..._6_quadruples_signal_after_digital_shift.html

How shocked? The type when you stick your finger in a 110V outlet? Now that gives you a shock. I CAN get WPVI-DT ota in Willistown, Twp. in Chester County, just in case my DirecTv or my Comcast goes out.

It may not have worked everywhere, but I saw a noticeable uptick on the strength meter on my converter box with no other changes to my antenna.

Make sure your antenna is a Low Band VHF capable antenna and point it at Roxboro...power increases can't completely change the laws of physics... :'(

I still get WPVI-DT, but no pixelization. My reception of Pulse 87 is also unchanged.
How much has the power been increased by?
