7/16 DX - Myrtle Beach, SC

Only 1 new add so far today:

92.5 WYFL Henderson, NC "WYFL" (Religious) 100K-C 173.2mi

Was able to ID it over WIHB (B-92) Charleston, SC.

Other than that, not an impressive day here thus far.

Well, looks like another bad day for DX, however yesterday had an outstanding tropo opening that had KINK in for several hours, as well as KKCW. Monday had lots of E-skip to CO and TX, including KATP out of Amarillo, TX at 1360 miles.

E-Skip from Georgia & Florida made it to Texas 7/15

Yesterday afternoon in San Antonio was somewhat active; some Florida and Georgia stations made a track over to South Central Texas. Stations received included:

96.5 - WHTQ from Orlando (heard the ID along with tunes such as "Time" by Pink Floyd, "Come Sail Away" by Styx and "You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi; this was around 1:00 PM CDT

96.9 - "Brandy" by Looking Glass; probably WJGL from Jacksonville given the track of this skip.

94.5 - pulled in WBYZ from Baxley, GA and an it mixed with an Adult R & B station (probably WCFB from Daytona Beach/Orlando)

97.9 - WXTB 98 ROCK out of Clearwater playing "One" by Metallica

106.1 - This might have been WFXH out of Hilton Head/Savannah (played "Low" by Cracker and then several commercials

95.5 - WIXV out of Savannah (commercials only)

102.5 - WHPT - "The Bone" Sarasota

103.3 WWSN - Waycross/Brunswick

105.7 - Played a Lynyrd Skynyrd tune and my guess is Augusta, GA

94.9 - UNID, but Country - first hunch WTNT out of Tallahassee; possible WUBL from Atlanta, but I've never heard Atlanta FM's here in South Central Texas.
