noticed some out of place formats on a couple frequencies while driving home from a short trip up the road to Fayetteville TN.
so far i've ID'd and recorded:
94.5 KFMX Lubbock TX 945FMX - Lubbock's rock station - partial RDS display showing song title - 872mi - 100kW
94.9 KOLI Electra TX - 949 the outlaw - partial RDS display advertising a hospital - 697mi - 50kW
uncertain:
96.5 playing country Q96, likely KQSW Rock Springs WY - 1297mi - 98kW - recorded
106.5 RDS reading "playing what we want" possibly KEND Roswell NM - 1025mi - 65kW - recorded
unidentified:
93.5 low sound quality, airing commercials then dead air, local 93.3 overtook it after that - recorded
95.5 strong signal, spanish format, fighting it out with close by WSM-FM - recorded
95.7 playing country, faded before ID
102.5 playing top 40, assumed it was nashvilles 102.5 before discovering the other stations coming in
