Just logged my first Canadian catch:

(2108 GMT) 92.5 CFQR Montreal, Quebec, Canada "The Q 92.5" (AC) 41.4K-C1 857.8mi

As soon as it faded out, Michigan takes control. Gonna be an interesting day.......

Report of a Lincoln Nebraska station stepping right on our local FM in New Jersey!

I have an analog TV connected to an antenna in the attic. The past couple of days, especially this afternoon Ontario has been booming into channels 2-6 here in north Alabama. Almost like watching regular analog TV here in the US before the DTV transition, Wheel of Fortune and Dr. Phil...

92.5 CFQR Montreal, Quebec, Canada "92-5 The Q" (AC) 41.4K-C1 857.8mi
93.5 WBCM Boyne City, MI "TCM - Today's Country Music" (Country) 14K-C2 856.2mi (Simulcast WTCM)
93.5 WKMJ Hancock, MI "Mix 93" (Hot AC) 13.5K-C3 1047.6mi
94.9 KQDS Duluth, MN "95 KQDS" (Classic Rock) 100K-C1 1132.3mi
95.1 WFBE Flint, MI "B-95" (Country) 50K-B 686.5mi
95.3 WBCK Battle Creek, MI "95.3 WBCK-FM" (N/T) 3K-A 676.8mi
95.5 WGLO Pekin, IL "95-5 GLO" (Classic Rock) 7K-B1 748.7mi
95.7 WLHT Grand Rapids, MI "W-Lite" (AC) 40K-B 734.9mi

Also had 2 french-speaking signals on 93.1 & 93.3, but ended up as unIDs.

jumping here in Nashville: these catches on my commute home between 5:10 and 5:40pm central

92.5 WXRV Haverhill/Boston "92-5 The River" (950 miles)
92.5 CBCD Pembroke, Ontario CBC long-form news (English) (850 miles)
94.9 KZWY Sheridan, WY (several Sheridan mentions in stopset) (1200 miles)
94.9 CKGE Oshawa, Ontario (680 miles)
94.9 UNID mentions of University of Iowa
95.3 KXLS Pierre, SD "95-3 Jack FM) (900 miles)

94.5 UNID CHR in French...very strong at times

numerous others covering semi-locals...too many to keep up with in a moving car
(the above were jotted down on my oil change receipt...then confirmed on-line)

From my location in Atlanta, GA I was able to receive a number of signals from Upstate NY/So. Ontario/So. Quebec from about 5:30pm to 7pm local including...

CBMT TV Analog Channel 6 from Montreal (during the entire period) - both audio and video
WCNY-FM 91.3 MHz Syracuse, NY

and various CBC Radio 1 and French Radio Canada Première Chaîne outlets fading in and out between locals here below 92 MHz.

WAER 88.3 Syracuse, WAMU 88.5 Washington; WHYY 90.9, WYSP 94.1 Philadelphia, 93.7 Bob-FM Norfolk?, French on 89.1, Hereford, Texas on 88.7, a station on 88.7 saying they're in Eastern NC. This was between 4:30-5:30 Central Time.

WYPR 88.1 Baltimore "Your Public Radio" - approx. 638 miles (I had to play the recording I made with my MP3 recorder/player several times to figure this one out - I highly recommend recording your DXing since you can play the recording over and over until you can understand the call letters - sometimes it sounds fuzzy at first - play the recording through a stereo receiver and adjust the tone to filter out the noise - makes a big difference)

WKHK 95.3 K-95 Country Colonial Heights (Richmond), Virginia - approx. 669 miles

Could the UNID 94.5 be CHR-formatted CJAB-FM ("Énergie 94,5") in Saguenay, QC? I seem to recall a previous opening where I did hear the station.

Unfortunately I had very little chance to hear any Eskip due to a busy work schedule. I heard KTWB FM 101.9 Sioux Falls, SD and KBEW FM 98.1 Blue Earth, MN (near the IA border) here in northern VA about 5:30 PM with my car stereo and that's it. I did heard KKXL back in the late 80s at the same location.

Only had a chance to DX for 1 hour yesterday while driving near Chicago. here is what I heard:

89.5 WHRV VA Norfolk, 1709, ID, PBS programming
89.7 WKCP FL Miami, 1805, Classical South Florida RDS ID
93.3 UNID, 1800, mention of wizardwindows.com in ad. Checking the web site, possible stations are in PA and VA, but which one?

All times are Central time
