7 February Saturday Night Live

Sorry this is late... :-[

I thought this was a good episode. Bradley Cooper was a good host. I've seen him before but didn't match the face with the name. Most of the skits. My favorites were Bad Guys Good Conversation and Four Guys Having a Drink.

Weekend Update was great with Really With Seth, 'Mark Spitz' and 'James Harrison.' I wasn't feeling the Bjork thing.

While I still think Kristen Wiig does an incredible Kathie Lee Gifford, Today show skit was too long. I didn't like I'm On a Boat. And It's Not Okay!

Kudos to the new females Abby Elliott and Michaela Watkins. Both had good characters and played them well.

Overall, I enjoyed this episode of SNL.

Agreed. I almost changed the channel during the opening skit, which fell flat. To be honest, I think I kept watching to find out who Bradley Who? was.

I liked Bradley, and thought the show was well written for a change, and moved right along. Yes - the Cathy Lee Gifford skit was too long, but at least it was funny. Wiig is very talented.

Didn't enjoy it much. I got a mild laugh out of "I'm Gonna Have Sex with Your Wife", but that was it. The previous week had me roaring, while I was having a beer and munching on my Chewable Pampers.

Tonight's was terrible. The Jonas Brothers are not funny. The only funny sketch was the Wii one near the end, which I can't describe here since this is a family website! The rest of the show was very flat, although I did laugh exactly two other times: once during the Cougar Den sketch when one of the ladies mentioned meeting a guy at McDonalds Playplace, and the other at that Wizard in the music video in the digital short. And by laugh, I mean single ha's, not extended laughter.

Agreed about the 2/14 show (awful)...but not about the Jonas Brothers. They were very funny jamming with Stevie Wonder on Stevie's song Superstitious on the Grammy Awards show. Funny in a cringing-in-pain sad and pathetic way...

I was going to create a 14 Feb SNL post, but since this one's still going...

I gave it a slight thumbs up. Nothing that horrible but nothing that great either. I liked the Wii skit. Wonder how they thought that up? Jonas Brothers were okay in their two sketches. Great to see the pop-ups Dan Aykroyd, Jack McBrayer and Cameron Diaz, even though I figured out Diaz would be on since they had the Cougars Den. Cou-Gay was Funny. Liked the old businessmen. Sir Mix-A-Lot was good, especially with the anaconda! Also how people kept 'interrupting' Weekend Update.

I didn't like Vincent Price. Angelina Jolie was funny the first time. Okay this time. Don't do it again until seasons end or next season.
