700 drops weather coverage in Clermont County

I've never had a problem with bad reception or had an outage for that matter with my local NOAA station. I do find it funny that the NAB is using the emergency excuse to the FCC for mandatory FM radio in all cell phones though.

Do yourself a favor and purchase a NOAA weather radio with Emergency Alert.

I have already suggested that to him, bob. But according to him "sometimes weather radios even have bad reception in bad weather".....like AM radio stations (or FM for that matter) doesn't.

Way to put words in my mouth there Bengalsfan....

I was merely stating that Weather Radios have issues in bad weather sometimes...NOT that I WOULDN'T Purchase one....

And to the other poster who made the comment about having a land line...I DO have a land line "old school phone" but it isn't like I have that "old school phone" hooked up all the time.

Geesh, tough crowd. All I wanted to do was make some commentary about how I was upset that 700 didn't have some weather coverage. Now I am being ridiculed for it. :-\

Maybe since you are all supporters of CC; maybe you should all go back to your cozy little ham radio workstations and computers and write about CC is the next best thing since sliced bread....

Exactly what words did I put in your mouth? That was a direct quote from you.
