760 KFMB "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT"

Several months ago 760 KFMB's program director mentioned to me "big changes" in September on the station. Is this reality? Does anyone know anything about this?

760 KFMB couldn't sound any more amateurish these days...like a college radio station. Not only that their commercial load is sometimes unbearable.
 
It's a terrible product, one of the worse AM Talkers. A shame with that signal and heritage. Dave Sniff must be good at
mostly sniffing his bosses hind side, as he seems to be a company man, not a programmer. KOGO is having their
problems, this would be a perfect time for KFMB to actually create an interesting product, not simply collect their
hourly brokering fees on a bunch of bottom feeding products, services, and individuals.
 
Why do they let Rick Roberts still piss and moan through afternoon drive there? It seems like he hasn't had anything of significance on the air since the Westerfield trial...

Dave Sniff has never had a real handle on what listeners want to hear in the morning or afternoon.

When Rick Roberts was on morning drive, hearing him constantly piss and moan made you want to just shoot yourself through the mouth with a high caliber shotgun. Now you get him pissing and moaning in afternoon drive after having a bad day at work which makes you want to inflict road rage on the freeway.

Now with Mike Slater speaking at thousand words a minute and talking Republican speaking points, that's a real motivation to get out of bed. Then down the street you have Chip Franklin who is so east coast that he doesn't even have an iota of an idea about the west coast. Just because you wear a flowered shirt, shorts and flip flops to the studio doesn't make you a San Diegan.

Give me KFI's morning show with Bill Handel or whoever...or John and Ken in the afternoon...
 
The "big announcement" has been found out! They are replacing the carpet in the talk studio where Rick Roberts works.
 
about time they replaced that carpet. i heard there are still some burnt joints down in the carpet from the old days lol
