760 KFMB Network Affiliation

A few years ago, KFMB switched from CBS News on the hour to ABC News. The word was ABC required fewer commercials from KFMB.

But tonight, I've twice heard a KFMB reporter, Marna Davis, file a story on the San Diego Mayor controversy, on CBS News. They identify her as being with CBS affiliate KFMB. One anchor said KFMB Radio. I wonder, did KFMB work out a secondary affiliation with CBS? So they don't have to run many spots but get access to some CBS features and they get to file reports with CBS? Or did the anchors get it wrong, that Ms. Davis is with CBS affiliate KFMB-TV?

Last year 760 went back to CBS and has nothing to do with ABC. 760 picked up ABC back then to get Paul Harvey, as KOGO had dumped ABC by CC mandate. When Paul Harvey died there was nothing appealing left and being able to share the affiliation with Channel 8 made sense.
