790 Dark all day

I don't know where you are, or what station you're listening to, but 790 did air Imus this morning, and has been airing ESPN radio since then. Their new calls are WPRV, but as they did in the past, they added in the not necessary "AM" in between WPRV and Providence.

Going to the Wikipedia page for WSKO-AM, and clicking on "listen live", just gave me ESPN radio...but going back in, again, it also says that the FM is now WEAN 99.7 (the old call of years ago, on 790).

Yeah, sorry I was using an office radio and the dial is a little off. They are on ESPN right now.

Would be better to have the calls switched. WPRV on 99.7 and WEAN back on 790 where it belongs....

Your right. Or why not just use WPRV on both stations WPRV-FM and WPRV-AM. Or even the calls WPRI for 99.7 would be good.
