I remember the first thing I'd do is tune to "Quixie" as far out of town as I could. And, good ole "Dr. Don Rose...up your nose!" I have a friend who has copies of his "drop reels." Would I love to get a copy of those!
(And who among us didn't listen to John "Records" Lanndecker on WLS or Cousin Brucie on WABC at night?)
In the early 70's I was in Atlanta for the day with a radio buddy and we decided to just "drop in" and see the place. ;D John Leader was PD and treated us like old friends. I'll never forget how he ushered us in his office and we talked radio for about an hour. He gave us a tour and we were on our way. I think McKee had just started or hadn't been there long. Thanks for the GRHOF Memories.
