8200 Analog to Digital switch stutters

I have an 8200 on a station that uses an AudioArts D75 console. When the EAS is active, it trips the Optimod into Analog mode. At the conclusion of the test, the EAS closure trips the Optimod back to Digital mode. When the unit reenters Digital, the audio stutters two or three times, then it is fine...

Anyone have any ideas on stopping this (outside of keeping it in analog mode)?

I'm not clear on the method you're using to perform the EAS interrupt but I had an issue with a D75 having LOW AES output, about 1/3 the normal voltage (as seen with a digital analyzer). This was something that affected all AES outputs and replacing the output module cured the problem.

Thanks, Andy... I will check that. Both Analog and AES feed the Optimod. It is normally on the digital input. When an alert comes (or we send one), a contact from EAS switches the Optimod to analog so the alert can pass (it is an analog Sage). When the alert ends, a contact from the EAS returns the Optimod to its normally digital mode of operation.
