I live in the Dallas area, and listened to Barsky on CBS's Sports FM The Fan. He was funny, but seemed to be constantly bogged down with sports . Found out from a friend that he was in Miami-Ft.laud, so i came here for a search. I listened to the new show on line yesterday, and what i heard i liked. Funny the way i remember, seems to be more in his element then sports. Although the stream went down a few times. i think the show will be an alternative to political talk. I'm sure he's got full control since i think he owns a piece of the station. Is he the PD too?

Why not? Sounds like the SAME programming genius applied to 640 Sports. Again, 790 is the definitive sports station.

What are you smoking? 790 is a JOKE. Hopw they get the ratings they do is beyond me.
790 is lesser of the three evils of sports radio. I think we can agree the format in SFL is weak across the board. Out of the three, its 790, 560, and distant 3rd, 640. So if you got to choose, its 790, although I do agree with you it has its problems, but it's problems in which I can deal with and not yell at my radio and switch off out of frustation. I simply can't do what when it comes to 640. That's the point I was trying to make, I guess.
I think that's why 790 gets the ratings they get. No place else to go, so you pick the one that sucks the least, which is 790. I feel they have a consistent quality on air from shift to shift, that their is an actual program director enforcing some level of quality control. There is a level of effort, so I can appreciate the effort. The other guys don't have that, at least it doesn't sound that way on air.
