87.7 - Chicago's "L"

Mega Media announced today that they were going to start broadcasting in Washington DC on June 1st. Thier original press release about dance in LA and Chicago was that they had signed letters of intent and they needed to be executed by March 31st. No announcement was ever made, and so I believe that they will not be broacasting dance in LA or Chicago. They issue a lot of press releases so I'm sure they would have if the agreements were signed. The first press release about Washington DC said the they signed a lease, same with thier renewal in New York.

Pulse is definitely coming to Chi-town, L.A., and DC, with more markets on the way.
Pulse 87 also recently added more people to their staff, including Niko who used to be an on-air personality at Z-100.

The first post in this section said that 87.7 was stunting with country. I doubt Pulse would do that. Have they been discussing leasing stations from someone else? Mega Media has a lot of financial problems and no money, so it could be the company that owns 87.7 in LA in Chicago didn't want to deal with them. My stockbroker and I looked at thier financials and I'm surprised anyone would sign a deal with them. Besides not having any cash, they are being sued by two entities that loaned them money for lack of interest payments.
