This is not a pirate station. It is KZFW-LP, a low-power television station.

They are doing something similar to what WNYZ-LP ("Pulse 87") has become famous for in New York City - they are utilizing the audio portion of Channel 6 as a "radio station". Although WNYZ-LP does not presently run any video, KZFW-LP is running video - but it also promotes its postion on the FM dial. (For those who aren't aware, the FM band is actually a small portion of the spectrum wedged between Low VHF (Channels 2-6) and High VHF (Channels 7-13). The audio portion of the Channel 6 just happens to be at 87.75 FM, and most newer FM radios go down to 87.7.

KZFW-LP was originally licensed to Ch. 53 in Royse City, but is apparently now operating under a construction permit that was issued for it to move to Channel 6 and change city of license to Dallas with 3000 watts.
