87.7 reception

David Eduardo previously posted the FCC map in this thread: http://boards.radio-info.com/smf/index.php/topic,122230.msg989659.html#msg989659

I have, in the car, checked it out in many places around the Los Angeles area.
In West Los Angeles it is so-so (not too great inside on a normal boombox). If you're in Burbank, it's great. Downtown Los Angeles, pretty good to great. West Hollywood, less than so-so (in an area which should be their biggest supporter). It was great in Long Beach, also. LAX and Torrance, pretty good.

Others will have to chime in for their areas or areas they travel to.

It's pretty good in the city of Azusa, but it completely fades out right before my house (it figures!) which is at the begining of Azusa Canyon off hwy 39. I'm going to test it out on my drive to Rancho Cucamonga and will let you know. I was able to pick it up in parts of Corona last week.

Oh yea, only my car radio gets 87.7. I had a new Pioneer DVD unit installed in my truck last month and it won't even go below 88.1 MHz. I messed with the settings and it changed my clock to 24hr time so I'm hoping there's a way to switch to European frequencies or something and maybe it will go down to 87.7.
